The Cascades hotel situated within the Sun City Resort is an oasis of calm, surrounded by lush scenery and beautiful gardens.
Circle rebranded the hotel as a long-lost tropical oasis, showcasing the juxtaposition between organic natural elements and the bold, uncompromising angular architecture. The use of organic illustration represents the hotel’s natural surroundings with modern patterns that showcase the futurist statement that the building makes.
The hotel’s distinctive architectural shapes and angles inspired the visual language, patterning and information system. The illustration style is bold, classic and vibrant, based on three main themes; local foliage, botany and indigenous birds.
From check-in to menus and in-room stationary, this new visual identity was rolled out across all collateral and consumer touchpoints, communicating to consumers in a welcoming tone.
