Valley of Waves waterpark situated in the Sun City Resort offers fun in the sun for the whole family. From the roaring lagoon with real waves right through to the 70-meter Temple of Courage, the Valley of Waves is a truly unique experience.
The waterpark was built to resemble ruins of an ancient civilisation which inspired the new brand identity. The architecture at Valley of Waves includes triangles, which is especially significant owing to the fact that many ancient cultures represent elemental water using triangles or zigzags. A custom font was created using the geometry of the triangle, then distressed as though it were made from ancient slabs of stone. The visual language was influenced by the ancient stylistic representations of sun and surf. The colours were inspired by the sun, sand and water.
The visual language was applied across a variety of applications from gifting, to signage and various other brand collateral such as towels and umbrellas.
